Welcome to the Central Virginia Area Combined Federal Campaign

Thank you for visiting the Central Virginia Area Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) website.  This is the official Combined Federal Campaign website Central Virginia Area Combined Federal Campaign CFC.  This site has been reviewed and approved by the Central Virginia Area Local Coordinating Committee (LFCC).

The CFC is the only authorized solicitation of federal personnel in the workplace on behalf of charitable organizations.  For years, is has and continues to be the largest and most successful workplace fundraising campaign in the world!  First authorized in the 1960’s under President John Kennedy, CFCs have collectively raised billions of dollars to help people in need and worthy causes throughout the world.

In 2011, nearly 6,000 federal civilian, USPS and military personnel in the Central Virginia area contributed over $1,300,000 during the 50th anniversary of the Combined Federal Campaign.  This is an outstanding demonstration or the support and generosity of the federal community, and its desire to help improve the human condition through the CFC.

As we and the many federal volunteers prepare for the 2012 effort, we encourage all Federal personnel in this area to consider participating in the program.  As we all are aware, the needs of those in our local community, across the nation and throughout the world continue to grow.  To keep pace, your support is needed now more than ever.  The Central Virginia Area Combined Federal Campaign is one of the easiest and most efficient ways to support those organizations and causes that are important to you.
